The Israel Palestine conflict
The installation by the Brits of the Jewish state of Israel in the middle of the Arab Middle East following the second world War has been contentious to say the least. The native Palestinians want the Jews out, the Jews want the Palestinians out and atrocities have been carried out on both sides.
